Qualifications, memberships and registrations
Irene is a certified member of the Society of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (MSNLP) set up as a quality control measure by Dr Richard Bandler, the creator of NLP. She is also a certified member of British Institute of Hypnotherapy (MBIH), one of the longest established associations of hypnotherapists / psychotherapists and NLP Practitioners, committed to the highest standards of ethical practice and professional competence.
The BIH is a member of the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council, also a member of the UK Confederation of Hypnotherapy Organisations (UKCHO), a national umbrella confederation.
Irene is a qualified social worker (Dip/SW) and remains on the Scottish Social Services Council register (S.S.S.C): www.sssc.uk.com. Irene is also a qualified psychiatric nurse (R.M.N) but having pursued a career in social work her registration has now lapsed.

She has an enhanced disclosure (police checks) and full public liability insurance to carry out the techniques used within the practice.
